Woodstock PD Bike Patrol

Established in 1992.Currently the town has 4 active bike patrol members and is expected to strengthen in numbers.

Starting in early spring and ending in late fall a bike patrols officer's duties include maintaining order directly in the heart of the village of Woodstock. Including patrols of the Village Green area and issuing parking tickets to vehicles parked illegally on streets and in town parking lots.

Bike Patrol is also effective in times of street congestion to get traffic moving freely. Bike Patrol officers work diligently at their duties, and are effective in improving quality of life in our community.

Our officers, who keep our town safe while on bike patrol, are highly trained professionals who had to complete an extensive and vigorous training program approved by the state. These officers are expected to be in top notch physical condition and are highly respected in our community.
